First off, we are currently running short on donations and would be grateful to anyone who can donate. Secondly, we will be moving to a cheaper server later this month, possibly one that will not be able to handle BC4. We can spend a bit more for one that will be able to handle BC4, and it would still be cheaper than our current setup, but with donations in the state they're in I would prefer the cheaper server. We're still running short even with either of the cheaper servers though, so don't let this deter you from donating. Unless enough donations come in, we will be getting rid of BC4. Even then we may still be getting rid of it, since as you probably know it's been mostly empty and I don't see much point in paying for an empty server; but of course it's also up to you guys as you pay for most of the cost through donations. We can try to acquire an a0 server name in order to bring more players in, but it's not guaranteed that we'll be able to get one.

I suggest that for at least 2 weeks before changing server names, the admins should add an !auto-announce advertising the change.

Another idea I got after looking at a few other threads: maybe we should advertise a BC map pack that we can host, which will have a few new fanmaps that everyone will be able to download without fussing about finding all of the maps by themselves.

If i know lazy people and i do, they will see "oh a fanmap that i dont have so i have to go dl this pack and wait so i can play on this server fun lets go somewhere else" thats what i do when i see a mappack and im sure there are other people like that :/, most fanmaps suck anyways
