new planet

In school i heard a few different teachers briefly talk about the new plane tthat's similar to earth, but its somethign like 20000 light years away.  So i googled it today and read a little bit about it.  Was wondering if anyone else thought we might actual get people there around 100 years from now.

on the news it said its 20 light years away but has a stronger gravity than earth so may only contain small flatt bugs

No they couldn't, The ship would need refueling (assuming it uses fuel not solar power or and other kinds), And of course we would have to travel at the speed of light to get there in 100 years if its 100 light years away, and of course we can't even come close to that so it would have to be a huge ship with generations of people :o

in other words you would be fucked if you decided to go and you would never see the planet your great grandchildren would probably
