Yes, we now have ads. We know they're not everyone's most favorite thing, but currently we are just testing them. Depending on the amount of money they generate, we may or may not keep them. Black-Cell is almost four years old now and the other day I did some calculations on how much money has been spent keeping the servers up and such. It turns out over $10,000 has been spent over the last few years. So yeah. We wouldn't have been to do it if it weren't for generous donations and I thank all of those that have donated, but if this can lessen our need to rely solely on donations that'd be great. Don't let that discourage you from donating though as we still need donations. Recently we've been running a little low on donations (which is one of the reason's we're trying these ads), so if you can, please donate. Those who have donated and are registered will not see ads on the forums. We do not have a way to do the same with the website yet, but hopefully we will at some point if this becomes permanent. Also, if you can, please email ( ads@black-cell.net) any URLs of crappy ads selling WoW gold and stuff like that so that I can blacklist them. |

Yeah it might be that, I use Maxthon and I see the adds, also I can't use the quote button anymore as it causes a script error (though that might not be related to the adds, but it definatly didn't happen before today so I think it probably is). Same thing happens in IE btw (both adds and quote script error).

Eeehh I still see them on the forums 0_o My bad, I added GodP0w3r and not GodPower to the list. You shouldn't see them anymore. Not sure why quoting is broken, I'll look into it. |
