This morning, May 30, at about 1:00 a.m. MST, my brother Derrick Rice aka Nfekti0n commtted suicide and everyone in my family and his friends that know about it are deeply saddened and depressed while we may say his suffering has finally ended because he has suffered tremendously for the last few years; what he did is something that should never be done because it is exremely selfish, if you are ever contemplating suicide think about how fucking sad you would make the people you know.
I will be checking in from now and then please, anyone that knows him if you wouldnt mind saying a few good words or showing some respect feel free and I thank you for your time.

Know that those of us here are saddened and share your grief. Though we don't have that much real world contact, we all know it would be horrible to have to go through something like that. My prayers go out for you and your family in your time of need.

I really don't know what to say. Though, I only knew him online, he was a great guy. This is horrible, I can only wish there was a way to reverse it. I always liked talking to him on IRC, he seemed like a very down to earth guy and easy to talk to. As much as this shocks and saddens me, I can only imagine how you and your family feel. I hope you all can pull through it. I'm truly sorry, this should never happen.

Nothing anyone can say can change how your family feels right now. I only hope that others may see the message and not take the same path.

I'd never have known he had any problems in life, and I feel a deep sense of regret throughout. Once I read this, a wave of pure shock went through me. I'm so sorry.. thought I know what it's like to lose someone you love, as I just lost a best friend not long ago, I hope I never have to feel the pain that I'm sure you do. My greatest sympathies to you and yours.

When I read this my jaw dropped...and stayed that way for some time after... Nfekt and I didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things but we were pals when we first started playing together and I still liked him today... I'm so sorry for your loss, my prayers go out to you and your family and I hope you and your family make it through this.

He was a great person and i loved talking to him, he made me laugh, he made me sad and he also had something great to say. I feel for your loose and hope your family can get through this...

I am absolutely gob smacked. I'm finding it hard to believe. Firstly ill say I’m very sorry to hear the news, and my thoughts go to you and your family. I played with nfek a lot, and we got on the majority of the time, although we did have the odd argument or two he always seemed a good guy. I’m lost for words - I can only repeat what the others have already said.

As everyone else said, I too am sorry for your loss. I never did know him that much, but alot of other people did. He was a good guy. He always seemed happy though. Although I'm not a religous man, my prayers go out to you and your family.
