HD: 2.3GB or more free space
    Video: DirectX 9.0c compatible (*video)
    Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible (sound)

*Video:
Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
    ATI Radeon 8500 or greater

CC, mabey you could help me out... i have the BF2 demo and a ATI Radeon 9200SE with, at first, a Catalyst driver.

When the game got past the splash and all the perviews, the game initialized and i could hear music but only a mouse and black screen were present. It then went to desktop in 800x600 and 60 Hrtz and prompted me something about "hardware recovery failed". that only poped up once, the other times it did the same w/o the dialogue box

I then uninstalled the catalyst driver and put in an Omega 2.6.25a driver. same case.

Any suggestions? screenshots and fraps are avalable.

That happend to me on Doom 3 when I had a Nvidia GeForce MX 420, forked out some money and grabbed an ATI Radeon 9600SE and it worked fine. That means it's probably the graphics card, but make sure you compared the System Requirements on the box to your computer.

Note that if you have a ATI Radeon 9200 PCI card (this does not apply to AGP or PCI Express cards), you may experience this issue even after updating your drivers.
You know, i always am at the reciving end. <_<

It's probably not going to be ranked because it costs $500 a month.

To have a ranked server you must become an EA Trusted Partner, or rent a server from EA or an EA Trusted Partner. Not only is it really expensive to do the latter, but you have very little control over the server either way. So most likely, no.

As for your second question, yes.

i'd be willing to guess that eventually there will be some sort of stats/ladder system available, even though it might not have a whole ingame gui dedicated to it. the bf2 menus are terrible and laggy anyways.
