In light of the release of the Battlefield 2 demo we have put up a server.

You can grab the demo at one of these sites:

i don't think that we will be hosting a server for hl1, the point of this is to pick a new game to possibly eventually move onto (that's why the 3 choices are ut2004, hl2 and bf2)

Rather than 2004...

If you're looking for a possible long-term one, Unreal Tournement 2007 comes out in 2006, and that's my vote.

I am gonna get the real game probably on tuesday so I wanted to play the demo to learn controls but I got a problem with the demo. Well, for one everytime I try to make an online account it says that my user name is alreaday taken, even when I do something like: 7@%^_kill()r.... that would be taken, and it says my emails already been used (and it hasnt). And my password already used...  :angry:  

The other problem is when I go to singleplayer, I can start the game all fine. But when its finished loading and I click join. I see a screen where I am floating with no gun or anything. I can see 2 flags floating. And I am looking at  a desert like scenario with 2 buildings and trees and crap.  Help me plzzzzzzz

if you have a gamespy account, it's already registered that name and email addy. So use that name and password.
